I have recently been snowed under with work and family commitments and have found it increasingly difficult to study but I have been able to stick to my study routine and even submit another TMA within a time frame that I didnt think possible.

I have always had an interest in computers because IT is becoming a critical factor in research and turning point in business growth. When you love what you're doing, you'll do well because you won't have to fight to motivate yourself. The CIW training has exposed me the global world of Information Management and Technology.

There is no gainsaying of the fact that, when I started the programme I was a bit sceptical if I would be able to scale through the course. But as time went by, I realised the lessons notes were very much straight forward, self-explanatory couple with the untiring efforts, assistance and encouragement of tutors which went a long way in motivating me to progress at a less-hassle pace. The practical nature of the program has really made it very interesting.

I appreciate my flexible working hours - I devote a lot of time reading my lessons notes. I feel that my greatest achievement has been taking up the Web Design training. I found it very much challenging and wanted to work in a challenging and exciting industry that has to do with Web Management and Internet Security. The technology is ever dynamic and there are always new projects coming up.

I am proud of my grades after completing the first section of my course despite the fact that I was once a novice when it has to do with computer. I learned more than I could have imagined on Section One and it was really rewarding because it opened my eyes to how IT relates to the real world of business.

The wonderful thing I have observed about the program is that it offers courses across all areas of my interest and the few areas I covered have exposed me to areas I have not previously experienced.

I'm looking forward to continuing working hard to get good grades and graduate in flying colours. I just cannot wait to put these skills into practice into any industry that might need my services.

Long Live Skill Train! And Best of Wishes to all Staff and Management.

Thank You.

I started this course on the 3rd of Jan and I was so excited about the prospect of finishing early (I actually thought I could finish my foundations and do the exam on March31). This drove me to begin reading three chapters a week as I calculated that that would enable me finish sections A to C and revise. It was challenging but I was able to cover alot in January and understand the texts as my results show(I have not gotten below 90% and I don't hope to)

It took some time to get started on my course with my regular job and my wife's visits to hospital in preparation for an operation but I am determined to get through this. I am now well on my way as being ready to send TMAs off before receiving results from previous TMAs. Can't wait to get to the end of this section and receive the next! Keep em coming!!

I nearly gave up on this course I am doing, with work work getting me down and getting Married back in November last year, work and the marriage took a lot of my time since me and my new wife had to plan the wedding which was in south africa. after the wedding and the christmas rush at work, as I am a chef, I had no time to be able to study, if I wasn not working I was a sleep. after December in the beggining of the new year I decided to pick it up again and now I hope I have finished the second part of my course. I now know I will not give up, because when I pass and have the certificate in my hands it will be the begging of a new life for me and my wife who we both would like to start a family but are not in a position to do yet.

Just a note to anyone thinking of giving up DON`T, it is worth pursuing.

Hi, so far I have managed to achieve 90%-100% on 7 TMAs out of 11. which I think is quite good. I have two very young boys that keep me busy (ages 2 & 4), sometimes its very hard to fit any coursework in. This month it has been extreamly difficult for me with both of my children having chickenpox (reflected in TMA 11 first submission).

I find it hard to pick out my good points. I feel that I have learnt alot in the past few months. I always look forward to the next part. My knowledge has increased.

When I started the course I thought that there was nothing much really to designing a web site and that it was a piece of cake, but I soon realised there is alot more to it then just adding pictures and text. Thanks for reading!

I've just finished the 7th book of my course and am waiting for the last section of it. In fact it took me less than a month to read that book and doing all it's assignments, I think it was a very good achievement for me and now I believe that, I've gained a very good understanding of IT in general after being on this course for a while. I'm using my knowledge to help others and am very satisfied about whole things, I hope to complete my course in the near future and starting a new challenge. thanks

I have managed to get into Section B of the foundation level, and I am half way through. I hope that I will be able to complete the section before the end of either next week or the beginning of the following week. Then I can get onto the C section. I have been on the course since October 2006.

I have been amazed at how much I have been able to help my company sort out a few issues with their website just by studying the xhtml lessons in section B. I am constantly helping clients out and the challenge is to make sure that I am ahead of the game. It is working so far. Thanks to the course work and the course is going really well, achieving high results.

Hi, I started this course from May last year (I think). As a foreigner, my first goal was to make some money and improve my english. But thinking about my future, I know that money is not everything. One day, Ill go back with knowledge I had gained. I hope, that one of these achievement will be completed course of CIW. Im only in section 2-javascript basics.I know how much I have to study to complete all 4 sections, pass the final test and get work a dream about. After that, I dont have to work so hard and can spend more time with my girlfriend and 2 years old wee boy, enjoy life and be with them, cause they need me.

Well,as a person who have just been in the course for 3 months can not say much yet .Rather, maybe my systematical way of doing it can be a step to achievemet as well as the personal interest in the course and the will to continue it.It is always easier when you like it.So for the time being keep on doing it and that is ok.I can say that definetely I am getting a more familiar with the 'Internet technology' than before.Thanks.

I have been able to learn great skills in web design, development, planning and management through my course with Skill Train.
I have also kept / met my target of complete my TMA every week, not just that I completed the TMA every week; I completed them with excellent results.

Between 2 months (even in my very busy schedules) of enrolling for my course I have been able to complete successful Section 1 - Part and I am almost done with Section 1 - Part B.

I have really learnt a whole lot during these courses and the Lab are just wonderful.
I have been able to put to practical use all the ideas and lessons I have learnt so far.

It's a privilege to be a part of Skills Train - There can never be a better option.
