I AIM TO BE THE BEST OF YOUR PRODUCT. I have completed chapters 1 and 2 now - with what I think are very good pass marks, having started the course with extremely limited knowledge in IT. I have found the course interesting but challenging, though I know with determination and perserverance I will do it!! It hasn't been easy with a family and young child, as well as starting a new job - but when I think about what I have learnt and now understand, in such a short time - it motivates and encourages me!! My next achievement (as you have suggested on this site), will be to create and follow a realistic study schedule - which I know will ensure I use my time more efficiently and productively! This course is a new opportunity for me and with the support available to me - can be a reality!! Thank you!! Being able to do the E-Commerce and Project management course is a hard strain, as im currently looking after our 18 month old daughter, however, I still manage to get about 2-3 study in a day. I can't believe I have learnt so much already and I have just completed Section A of foundation. I thought my understanding about computers pretty good but I didn't really understand before why they needed to be done or how it was achieved. AM STUDYING MA. INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA STAFFORDSHIRE UNIVERSITY IN STOKE AM ALSO WORKING IN NHS AM WORKING UNDER PESSURE AND STILL MANAGE TO CONTINUE WITH MY COURSE AND STILL KEEP MY SCORE AT A VERY GOOD RANGE ,HAVE HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE TO USE PC EVEN TO THE LEVEL OF INTRODUCING TWO OF MY FRIENDS TO SKILL TRAIN NOW STUDYING NETPRO COMPTIA A+ CERTIFICATION, I PERSONALLY HAVE GAIN A LOT FROM MY COURSE E-COMMERCE AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT WHICH IS REALLY HELPING IN MY MA.COURSE IN MY UNIVERSITY. Though I am only in my beginning period, the knowledge that I have so far achieved covers 7 months tuition for other colleges. The teaching at Skillstrain is just unmatchable. I have gained vast knowledge relating it to my day to day business. If one asks me about a good IT college even in my sleep I would scream "SKILLSTRAIN" I'm a person who loves to help those in need. Last month a friend of mine was doing her course work, and wanted a three circle diagram but did not know how to do it so she asked me for help. Even though I was not sure want to do myself, I sat there for almost 3-4 hrs to this diagram I tried, I tried and then guess what! I did it! you should see the smiles on our faces. It was a pleasure and I was so proud of myself. Over the past month or so, I have managed to complete and recieve 3 tutor marked assignments and I am awaiting the fourth while studying for the 5th. I beleave that it is down to my hard work and support from my tutor team that I am able to achieve such high standards of work. all of the assignments have been over 90% with two being at 100%! This has made me more eager to carry on my course and look forward to completion and my final goal. Then at 45, and already having a first degree in Mathematics and Statistics but without any knowledge at all in Computing, I felt being left behind in this Computer era. I therefore took a courageous decision in September 2004 and accordingly enrolled onto a three-year, full-time degree course in Computing and Information Systems at the Peterborough Regional College. Since starting this course I have achived a standard of knowledge which has improved my postion at work 100%, I am able to hold coverstations with the IT manager as well as provide constructive input into IT development within the company. With the knowledge this course has given me I feel more confident in dealing with support matters and conversing problems to management upto the MD level of the company. Within the last month, I have had to go through so much hardwork at work as a result of the peak period demands of tech support after christmas. however, my performance at work has been signficantly observed to improve, and that is because I now provide tech support (network-related) with some good understanding of how it really works. I have not arrived at the point I want to yet, but so far, so good. I am normally not on the network support lines, but I have provided such support, and by that, exceeded the expected performance target. additionally, despite this really busy new work schedule, I have still devoted time to my study, which means I have worked terribly harder, and I have submitted 5 TMA's, in which my lowest score was 80% in two, 100% in one and 90% in the other two; which I think is an excellent performance. yet all this has been combined with other self-study things am doing. I really have kicked off with my studying, even if I just started a new job as well. And I really have to say I enjoy working towards my certification I have just recently finished the first part of my course - A+ certification during the month of January. I scored four of my better results to date - 87%, 93% and two 100% results. I am very happy with these results as I work full time in a solicitors office which I can tell you does not have the most relaxing atmosphere but with perserverance I have continued to study hard whilst travelling to and from work on the bus, within the few hours I have to myself during the week and at the weekend after I finish my part time shift at the local hospital. I am now looking forward to sitting my exam and I hope that the hard work and effort that I have put into my studies over the last few months pays of and I can then carve a career for myself in the IT industry. I started a course with the Skills Train half a year ago. I will have the A+, N+ and finally the MCSA. Since I started and I listed the course in my CV I have much more opportunities around the city where I live. Now I can apply for an IT job and I won't have any doubts if I can do my job correctly. I am really pleased about the course and the Student word. The tutors and the phone help... its amazing. :) I am planing to do the CCNA course, as soon as I am going to finish with the MCSA. Its a challenge and a life time opportunity.
