I started this course in January and my progress has been rapid and steady, there has been some challenges, some days I don't feel like studying etc. However, I decided to always make a step to move forward daily. I decided that I would finish in record time. and its been good so far, I am on section2 with two more sections to go. My advise to all. strive to be diligent and proficent in whatever you do. Be the best and reach for solutions. You can.
On the 23rd of May, I did my first exams and passed with a high A (93%)....You can too. Look forward to doing a couple of exams in June.

I am really studying hard in the course which I have taken, and my wish is to master this Webdesign course with E-commerce and Project Management. I am very happy studying with Skillstrain as you guys are very well organise.
I am doing my best to take advantage of this opportunity. I am working full-time and its not really easy to work and study at the sametime.
I always think of my dad who always told me... where there's a will there's a way...?

I am burning the midnight candles mostly everyday... I just want to master my subject and want to be very good at it.
My first assignment I scored 90marks...which I am quite proud. I was aiming 100mks actually. And it was a silly mistake.I hope my 2nd assignment would be 100mks which am still waiting for my results.

Thank you for giving a little time to me.

I started this course recently and I found it very interesting although, its a bit difficult for me but as time goes on I found it easy. I want to thank all my tutor teams, they helped me a lot, because I didn't know I can do it. I was very scared when I first started the course, as I am very slow in understanding things but I take my time to scan through the book I was given and gradually I understand it. I could not believe it until I submitted my TMA01 and I see my score [85% ]am very surprised at it, that even gave me the confidence that I can do it,and I know I will come out in flying colours in all my assignments.I have the confidence now that I can sit for the general examination.Am using this opportunity to thank skills train.

Since I joined Skills train, I have achieved a lot. The best example which I could give is my own house. I wasn't that good on networking a few months before. But since I joined here, I was so much motivated to do something.
I have developed so many skills in terms of networking that I can manage my own network at home. I maintain a server at home, i.e. I have my own server which I maintain a domain. We have totally 9 computers at home (We are all students and everyone has a computer, and every computer is connected to the domain) and we share all the resources within the network. I have also configured the server as run a VPN service, which is amazing so that I can connect to my home LAN anywhere from the world, it not only for me for all my friends who connect to my server try access files and music from the server.

I wouldn't have guess that I would have done all these stuff without joining skills train. To be honest I never knew how to crimp a patch cable before. But I can do every aspect of network by myself (but within the bounder of my knowledge).
I am looking forward to expand my bounder as long as I am in skills train.

During my time of Employment at PC Service Call, which is now renounced as 'The Tech Guys', I managed to gain excellent experience, confidence within myself and achievements on my own grounds which have proven to be of great help in motivating me to expand my knowledge in my skills and intrests i.e in resolving problems with desktop computers, laptops, hardware, software etc.
My job title was 'CPA' which stands for Customer Product Advisor. The products that I had to give advice and solutions over the phone for was desktop computers, laptops etc that were brought from either PC World, Dixons Group or Currys/Currys digital. I once undertook a call that lasted me for over an hour and a half. It was a customer that had a fair amount of knowledge about what a PC is and how to operate it(thank God for that). It was a case where one problem after another arose which can get REALLY annoying. I know for 100% if it was someone else that had taken that call, he/she would have given up after a very short while and have had the customer an engineer booked to come out and see to the problem, but I really took to it to make sure this call ends with a customer satisfactory telephone fix. I really enjoy giving advice, and helping others to resolve computer/laptop problems, and that is what motivated me to stick with the frustrated customer, also it is what's motivating me in doing this course today and to make use of/enhance my skills and knowledge. I, in my opinion, regard that as an achievement, because it actually made me realise what I am capable of and how far I can go with the potential I have, and how patient I can be because of the passion I have for what I know and would like to further. I look forward to give 100% in completing this course fully and grasp every bit of information I possibly can from the courses I am undertaking.

I have been doing the PA course for less than two months now and I wish that I had thought of this years ago. The course is hard, I work nights and also have a two year old daughter who can't understand why daddy needs to sleep during the day. Despite being a low income family we found the money to pay for it all, so that in the (hopefully not so distant) future, I will be able to repay their faith in me. At present just done TMA 03 and still averaging about 95% on my scores. He hoping what the future May bring.

As a student of skillstrain you don't really know what you made up of until you are confronted with challenges.
My first challenge was choosing a computer for my uncle and being responsible for maintaining and ensuring that the computer is in good condition, I almost refuse knowing as I am still a student not yet a certified pc specialist. The pc came with a security software installed in it, he wanted to replace the security software with another which I advice him not to do. Few days later he told me about an error message that keep popping up, it has not made him enjoyed using the pc. After a brief questioning he finally told me he removed the anti virus software that came with the pc which I warned him not to remove. The bad thing about this error message is that even when you click ok it appears within the next few seconds, but with the knowledge I gained from my course materials I was able to solve the problem even when the manufactures support department could not do any thing about it. So far I have been able to solve two more problems due to human fault on the pc. Ever since then I suddenly developed this confidence of carrying out maintenance on his pc and my brother's laptop. As PC specialist confidence is a must have , if you don't have it then its not there but with skillstrain you are assured .

I have started my course this month which is a huge achievement for me having been stagnant and unsure of my future direction for some time. I have completed the first two TMAs and got 100% and 97% respectively and have just submitted my third TMA. This is a massive achievement for me as I am so busy working and have also played several gigs with my band in the evenings and been rehearsing twice a week for an opera performance. I'm not actually sure how I've managed to fit studying in to all this but my personal determination has found a way and I have been rewarded with good results which have motivated me even further to suceed with my course.
