I really found the last section hard and studied really hard for it. Electricity and power systems and was so shocked by my results achieving 80% as a few months ago this would have impossible. In the beginning I found juggling the children and the was hard but now I am organised

Despite having personal and financial problems I have persisted to thrive and do well with the support of the tutors.

The tutors are always friendly, polite, willing to go that extra mile to help the students to fulfil their personal qualities and to ensure that they can pass the course with ease.

I would thorough recommend skillstrain to anyone as I have the feeling that if you put the time and the enthusiasm and commitment then you will pass this course with ease.

The practicals are brilliant and give you further knowledge and understanding of the subject matters.

Thanks skillstrain for making me a better person, for this I will always be grateful.

Thanks

I have a severe back injury namely two of my lumber vertebrae discs slipped when I lifted a heavy object whilst at work in 2007. I have so far had two epidural injections and nine facet joints injections. I have been informed after my second scan results in September 2009 that doctors May have to operate as the other disc is putting pressure on the nerves leading to severe pain on my right leg. I am on full time employment and on very strong painkillers, but I still find time to do my coursework. My study programme is at times affected by the effects of my medication. I am so happy with the progress I have made so far although I had little knowledge in IT when I started. I am so thankful to the advise I was given by one of your staff members when I begun my studies and I will not give up even though my injuries still play a negative role in my day to day life.

Being able to study in English when my career developer in Dutch told me I won't be able to so. Such discouragement earlier on made me more determined. Even though I have been unemployed for over a year now, the drive is still there and I managed to crack on and hope for the best in future. Now I can solve some software and hardware problems sometimes on my own.It is just amazing how things can change, when one is determined.Win or loose, the future is definitely bright. Never give up is my advice to anyone.

After being made redundant, and struggling to find employment as a refrigeration/air-conditioning engineer, and try to keep my family and home together, I have completed more with my computer coursework while being under pressure, stress. Skillstrain offers hope.

I have been able to complete 3 assignments this month, yes May be others do this regular, but I have been very impressed with myself,

May I thank you all for reading this

Regards

Before I started this course I was and still currently hold a 60+hrs/week high pressure job in the hotel industry & trying to have quality time with my family can be difficult to find.

I am also currently studying (10 wk course) for an intermediate food hygiene at management level for my current job position

I started this course at the beginning off October & had a basic knowledge of how to use a PC and was quite sceptical of how I would get on with my studies including where I would find the time to study

When I first opened my PC Hardware & Maintenance book I thought "what am I getting myself into" so I spoke to my family about getting study time,
since I submitted my 1st TMA I couldn't wait for results and started studying for next TMA, when I got 100% test results back (WOOHOO) both my family and I were excited about my progress and celebrated my achievement.

In month off Oct I have passed my first 4 TMA's with 100% and just submitted my 5th TMA hoping to receive the same pass mark

I am growing more confident everyday about using and understanding my PC so much so that I have set up my Nephews PC & BTHub , looked at mine, my Kids & works PC in a different way of managing the PC rather than just using the PC

I somehow have managed to make the time to download and attend past online training events from the Cyberclass; Getting the most from student world, Learning styles, Introduction to MS DOS, You and your memory. which I found very interesting and helpful

I also downloaded further missed events ; Hardware and operations , TCP IP & Network Troubleshooting, then realised that the above mentioned were intended for later on in my course studies and was slightly disappointed that I couldn't access them at the time, I am excited that I will access them soon.

With the training still to come I'm sure I will be able to maintain and manage their PC's and keep my household family status as to them I am the model student
thanks
