Recently I have made a concerted effort to get training more often and streamline my efforts so that I maximise my efficiency in the little time I seem to have these days. I have two little daughters (3 and 1) and my time is divided amongst work, the girls, and training mainly. So thanks to a new regime that is working very well I have been able to submit more tests in less time! I find myself, these days, really waiting for the next section to arrive in the post so I can get on with the next part. I feel very happy with my progress recently.

I am working 5 to 6 days a week...I have 2 kids to taking care of, I did NVQ level 3 and some mandatory trainings that required to my work. that's why I have a very little time for my TMA 7. At this time my schedule is very hectic but I will try to finish my TMA 7. My TMA 1-6, I scored 100%.

Respected sir/madam It could be little improvement for others but increasing confidence is great feeling for me. With my little daugher and household work I don't give too much time to study. Whatever I do I am satisfied and happy all the way. thank you so much.

SO FAR SO GOOD! I A HAVE ACHIEVED USING MY MICROSOFT 2003 VERY WELL AND I AM NOW LEARNING TO USE MICROSOFT 2007. EVEN WHEN I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, I CALLED MY TEACHER BY NAME PAUL VINCENT WHO EXPLAINED IT WELL ABOUT HOW I CAN INSTALL, ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE AND AS I FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION NOW I AM GETTING THROUGH WITH IT
AND ALSO, MY HUSBAND WHOM I ALSO INTRODUCE TO SKILLSTRAIN LEARNING IS ALSO HAPPY THAT HE DID LISTENED TO ME AND TOOK THAT BOLD DECISION UNDER MINING THE FEE. BECAUSE HE ALSO CONFIRMED THAT SKILLTRAIN IS SO CONVENIENT WAY OF LEARNING.
THANKS
-Margaret
Well with 3 children under 6 to look after and with my computer breaking down I think I have managed to get my study time in and around all the noise and problems that come with day to day parenting.
I know I have only passed 1 TMA but the 2nd is on its way in the next 2 days. please consider me for Pupil of the month just because although parenting can be stressful I still can manage to fit my studying in. Thanks for reading

Due to the course I was able to build my own home network. Something I have wanted to do for a very long time.

As am a full time employed I struggled to get on with my course work but I make sure at least I get my 2 or 1 1/2 hours course study. Am impressed, for now I have done my TMA 1 ready to post my TMA 2.

It's nearly five years since I started my journey of building knowledge with Skills Train. I was 46 years of age at the time working in a warehouse rotating three shifts around the clock. Looking back I felt it was the wrong time for me to embark on a learning journey...I should have started earlier in life. It's ironic to wait to make the right decision. But I had no time to make the right decision until omeone told me,
"Don't wait to make the right decision, just make that decision and make the decision right".
These days at 51 years of age, I am no better off where time and money is concerned but no more shift work (thanks to Skills Train). The day begins at quarter to six in the morning and ends at around eleven at night. In between there's work that pays and the work that doesn't; such as father duties to two school children, husband duties with a huge 'honey do this' list and learning duties with maximum of ninety minutes of study time. Then there are some essential ground rules of no to telly during week days, no to nights out with the mates except one Saturday night in four (the other three Saturday nights are with the 'One Who Must Be Adored' with a glass of fine wine or chilled beer, if I've been a good boy).
Up untill now, I have not shared my story with anyone, because I genuinely feel that there are far better students out there than me with bigger challenges and adversities who deserve the best in praise and recognition.
I cannot claim to be a successful student, because to me success is a journey and not a destination. If you think about, the world of technology will always present us with new opportunities for learning new ideas and ways to 'do things' better. The technology is evolving so fast that in twenty years time I will go to bed at night being smart but wake up in the morning feeling dumb! So I don't think I will ever stop being a student.
I am not a qualified tutor or a mentor though I work as an NVQ Assessor and for certain, you are not obliged to follow my method. But if anything I can contribute to any of the lone students out there striving to juggle time and money to make things happen for themselves and their loved ones, then that is the courage to make a single commitment.
A single commitment to invest in yourself to carry out the task of fulfilling a single goal engaging in a single mindset will help carry you through one step at a time until the next single commitment.
So, if you are courageous enough to make a single commitment then commit to this:
When you receive the next part of your course material, ask your nearest and dearest to open it with a clear instruction to rip out the TMA question sheets and hide them away from you and that includes the questions CD accompanying the course work. Then get busy 90 minutes a day or night studying to sit the first TMA within a week of receiving the work. The results will speak for themselves on how to make improvements on your weaknesses and equally help you celebrate your successes.
Please don't take this lightly, because a commitment is a quality decision you will never ever have to make again...it's a done deal!!

Having Network + passed in two and half month with average achievement almost 100% is great success. Hopefully, I will be able to carry on at the same level.
