Hi,

Being with Skills Train has been a great experience for me. I have developed a great set of skills in the PC world through the A+ course that I'm doing at the moment. Especially the study material that is provided for the course is exceptional, it covers a very broad area of IT fundamentals in a detailed manner. The course material helped me to get a thorough understanding of the basic and detailed concepts associated with the PC systems. Not only this the networking part covered in the A+ course material is very good as well, giving one an insight of the networking fundamentals. The material is so helpful and easy to grasp that I was able to complete the last two parts of the course ( Section A+ 2006 Section 2 Part A and Part B) in a span of 16 days. I submitted all my assignments in 17 days time starting from 12th Jan till 29 Jan and got 100% marks in all of them. Besides this the tutor team are so helpful no matter what sort of problem it is.

I believe joining the Skills Train is the best decision of my life.

Regards

I've had a lot of problems in 2008 my wife being ill and car crashes , problems with house , money worries , having to go to visit my wife in hospital, and trying work full time in shop , marks when I started were not to good , but I'm coping now and getting between 90 & 100 percent in assignments

I have recently restarted my course after a spell away,I have also become unemployed, due to cost cuts at my last job, as I was the last one to join.
After aprox. 5 weeks of my restart, I have gained some very good results. Combine this with job hunting, keeping house while my wife is at work, and all that goes with that. I think that is some achievement. I find that doing this course also keeps me positive, as I know that when I qualify, I will be able to earn some good money and get myself back on track again. Not bad for an out of work jack of all trades.

Throughout the course so far I have received 100% on the majority of my assignments whilst juggling a full time job and looking after two children. I feel I have given 100% to this course. And hope to achieve a lot more in the near future, having taken this course.

Built a desktop computer starting from motherboard to adding ram, hard drive, cd drive to give as a birthday/Christmas present for a friend, then showed and taught him how to use it.

When looking for a new P.C I would have no idea of what I needed in a laptop/desktop , now I know exactly what I am looking for in a new laptop/desktop. I Think I have done well because I am currently having to use family and friends P.C's to help with my course E.G sending assignments in and studying. All in all I am very impressed and can't believe how much I now know about P.C Repair and maintenance through taking this course and would like to take the opportunity in thanking Skillstrain

I started the A+ N+ course when I was 13 and I've successfully completed the A+. I have had to find time everyday to read and revise as well as doing my GCSE work as well, so that been a lot for me to handle , but I still did it. so I've achieved a lot and learned a lot also, I've gained a lot more knowledge about computers from when I started and hopeful I'll pass my examination and get a good job after school.

I can't imagine it when reading my student progress report, seen my own work with words like: excellent, well done it just fantastic. First English's not my first language, I live with my partner and our two children, one boys 22 months and one girl 3years, living in a house of two bedroom. This is my every day rota; get up 7:30 in the morning to get my little daughter ready and take her to the play ground a 9:00 and when back home have to take care of the boy while her mum does the house work at 12:30 with the boy going to take my daughter from the playground as he's mum goes to the school class til 3:30 during this time I have to watch them until she's back then I will wait til kids goes to bed for me to start studying. I have no income or any form of support from any where in this country at the moment and I'm not allowed to work some body and the help of my partner with what she's getting as support( she's not allowed to work as well some immigration matter) I can't tell how much pressure I do feel after looking after kids all to start study on my course late when I just feel like to go to bed. now you understand why I am surprised by my progress report.
